These are the parents of the above children and Alisa was the photographer. She took these shots this morning and e-mailed them to me this afternoon. Isn't technology wonderful?

Just several years ago, she would have taken a roll of 12, 24, or 36 shots, of which at least half would not be acceptable. The film would be sent to the developer and within a few days the snapshots would be returned. She would them have to pay for not only the film, but for the technician to develop all of the shots, the good, the bad, and the ugly. It was an expensive hobby.

Often, none of the shots were anything special. Now, we know in an instant if any of the pictures are worth saving. Alisa is an excellent photographer, but even a novice like myself, with a fairly decent camera, can often have amazing success. Chuck and I both sit at our computer many times a day and look back over past blogs. We enjoy seeing and taking pictures of our family and yours, too.
