Summer is a tough competitor.  Two weeks ago the chain on her bicycle broke and she was forced to return to the start line.  She pushed and coasted her bike through the first lap....her dad repaired the chain and she started the race over again.  After completing the race, she had a smile on her face and thanked us for coming.  She is a champion in every sense of the word.  We enjoy watching her compete.

Parker injured his left wrist just before halftime and did not play in the second half.  A trip to the ER diagnosed a sprained wrist...swelling...pain, but no break.  He will probably miss his next game, but we are hoping to see him on the field for game 7.

We all know that when you do not know anyone on the field at a high school football game, well what more can I say.......
.....we will miss those Friday Night Lights. So........
