Chuck and I moved from California three and one half years ago. Though we love our home in Utah, there are certainly people and places that we miss. This Family is missed terribly by our family, but fortunately, they are skiers and have a time share in Park City. Most years, we get together for a lunch or dinner to talk about old times and to talk about what the future holds for each of us.
We met Melanie and Monte when Jennifer was about 14 and Morgan was just a baby. Jennifer babysat for Morgan and Monte and Melanie became role models for her. They babysat Jennifer when Chuck and I went out of town, so all in all it was a sweet relationship for all concerned. Mikah, Jace and Kade came along and over the years, we formed a mutual admiration society. Last week we had dinner with this family and having them in our home reminded us of why we love them. Charles' and Jennifer's family were here for Christmas, so it was a very pleasant evening for everyone.
