Originally from Friesland in Northern Netherlands
Believed to have been used as horses for Knights in Armor during the Early Middle Ages
They are strong and very Agile
Live in the large valley to the right as you enter the Heber Valley
They are very friendly and will come right up to the fence to to say Hello

Donkey among the Sheep
Every flock of sheep in the Heber Valley has a donkey to protect It
The donkey drives away coyotes and other wild Animals
In earlier times, Heber was the largest sheep ranching area of the Country
