This is the family of Helmut and Debbie....Judy and Carl's oldest son. They have a beautiful new kitchen where they whip up creative and delicious meals. Helmut is the head chef and Debbie is his sous chef. They make beautiful music together. We were entertained royally in their home the first sunday of our visit. Helmut grilled tilopia for fish tacos....fabulous! Delicious and refreshing drinks were served from large glass jars. There were delicious side dishes and an amazing Tres Leche cake topped with whipped cream. The table and ceiling were decorated with intricately cut tissue designs and a pinata.

Helmut and Debbie are a great team--in and out of the kitchen. We really love them!
ReplyDeleteYes indeed, the food and hospitality was great. I really loved getting to know their children a bit. All those years away left us with a darling niece and two handsome nephews I never got to know. They don't even know I'm their cool Aunt Mary.
