Mirror Lake gets its name because the water is so clear that it reflects the surrounding Mountains
Chuck and I are fortunate that we live within a few hours of many scenic areas in Utah. Last week we left our home in Heber, traveled northeast to Kamas and on to Mirror Lake. The leaves were beginning to turn to shades of orange, red, yellow, and brown and the scenery was spectacular. After leaving Mirror Lake we traveled on to Evanston, Wyoming where we turned west to Park City. We had lunch at Cafe Rio and then headed home. We were gone less than four hours. Taking a drive in the afternoon is a favorite escape for us. It feels like we are always on vacation.
