Returned Monday from three days in eastern Idaho and western Wyoming. The fall colors were magnificent and the buffalo, moose, deer, elk, ducks, geese, and blue birds were everywhere. A lone wolf was spotted in Yellowstone and Chuck is certain that he was able to see it through binoculars, but my old eyes were unable to detect any movement or shape. We had lunch in Jackson Hole and shopped for several hours before returning to Utah and home.
The United States is a beautiful country. We are all blessed by the foresight of President Theodore Roosevelt and the members of Congress at that time who declared that these areas be preserved for all the people of the United States as National Parks.
The pictures are incredible! I must go there someday! Do you think that was a photography class or something with all of those people? That's my kind of classroom!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures..somehow vaguely familiar.
