PRESIDENT'S DAY CELEBRATION .....VASS ELEMENTARY SCHOOL....VASS, NORTH CAROLINA

There are few things that I miss about the elementary school setting, but one of them is children performing on stage. The California State Standards require that all students K-6th grade  have an onstage experience every year.  Doesn't always happen, but it did happen every year for those students in my classroom.

Never had a child who did not want to be involved in a stage experience.  Some said they didn't, but when encouraged they were totally in.

Paige was subdued about being in front of the audience until she  saw her parents in the crowd of faces.

And, like every kindergartener on the planet, she waved and gave them a big smile.

Knew all the words and Moves

Love these Ladies

Chuck and I were fortunate to still be in North Carolina the night Paige Performed. Chuck made the ultimate sacrifice and sat in the car with the babies so that Roy, Karen and I could be inside and watch Paige.  Claire and John slept through the entire program.

We love each one of Them!
What a great Night!
