I love your southern history and the fabulous homes. Makes me hate Sherman even more. At least he spared Savannah because he got tired of all the fire and smoke he had spread all the way from Atlanta. The guy was a cur dog!
ReplyDeleteWell maybe he got tired of the smoke or it could be it was Christmas. He left Savannah after Christmas and picked right up with his murdering, savagery, brutality and destruction.
