We lived in this house for 31 Years
Karen and Jennifer were born after we moved to this Address
We loved our time spent with our family in this Home

Altadena is north of Pasadena and extends north to the beautiful San Gabriel Mountains.  I lived less than five minutes from the school where I taught third and fourth grade for twenty years.

Our school was one street from the foot of the mountains. My classes hiked in Eaton Canyon often and we visited the Eaton Canyon Wildlife Nature Center several times a year.  It was close enough from Noyes Elementary to hike there.

Our school was named after Dr. Arthur Amos Noyes, a chemistry professor  who taught at California Institute of Technology (Caltech) in Pasadena. Before coming to Caltech, he served as the president of MIT.

Many have asked why we left California.  The short answer is that all of our children attended college out of state and eventually settled all over the west.  Charles..Arizona, Steven...Utah, Alisa...Idaho, Karen....Texas and Jennifer....Arizona.  Utah offers a tremendous number of recreational activities, so our children and their children visit us often, and when the snow falls, we enjoy visiting them and their sunny weather.
